Lost Procedure

What to do when you are unsure of your position:

• Climb — better radio and navaid reception, more glide range
• Communicate — contact ATC or Flight Service
• Confess — state the situation plainly
• Comply — follow the instructions given
• Conserve — manage fuel while the situation is resolved
