IFR Additional Equipment

Added to the day and night VFR lists for IFR flight:

• Generator or alternator of adequate capacity
• Radios — two-way communication and navigation equipment suitable for the route
• Attitude indicator (gyroscopic pitch and bank)
• Ball — slip-skid indicator
• Clock — hours, minutes and seconds, sweep-second or digital
• Altimeter, sensitive and adjustable for barometric pressure
• Rate-of-turn indicator (gyroscopic)
• Directional gyro (gyroscopic direction indicator)
